A few character designs

I recently started an online character design class with James Lopez, a veteran Disney animator and designer. It's been a great experience so far as I've become a fan of Mr. Lopez's work that he posts on Facebook. Most of the stuff that he is teaching is not new to me, but it is refreshing to hear it again and told in different ways. Just kind of fills in the cracks, you know? I can't participate in the class as much as I want to (work, freelance, and kids will eat up one's spare time), but it has gotten me drawing on the side for fun again. Surface Pro 2 test

Like the title suggests, I did this on a Surface Pro2 in Toon Boom Harmony. I was impressed at how responsive this little tablet was in Harmony. Drawing felt natural and close to a desktop experience. That said, I'm not ditching my desktop any time soon,  but the Surface Pro2 isn't shabby.
